HELPING WOMEN REDEFINE BEAUTIFUL BY PURSUING JESUS TO BECOME LIKE HIM.
We are innately attracted to what is beautiful. Regardless of the emphasis on external beauty in our world, God looks at beauty differently.
God designed us to be beautiful and reconciled us to Him to make us beautiful. Our longing for beauty has been placed in us by God Himself to draw us to Him.
Often overlooked is the important role that beautiful plays in our Christian lives to cultivate a heart that is growing in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
The world is looking for a lasting beauty that the bible talks about that doesn’t fade—a beauty that can’t be purchased at a beauty supply store, on a clothing rack, or altered with an online beautification filter.
Here at Becoming More Beautiful—we are a movement—helping women redefine beautiful by pursuing Jesus to become like Him.
Our lives are gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful
as God enters our lives and we become like him.
2 Corinthians 3:18
We desire to live beautiful lives to adorn the gospel as an offering to the beautifying One and to point others to Jesus so they can know Him and make Him known.
I wish we could talk across the table with a refreshing strawberry lemonade or hot latte and chat, but here are a few things to know about me.
I am a speaker, certified Christian Life Coach, and Founder of Becoming More Beautiful. I am passionate about speaking to the hearts of women and pointing them to a pursuit of Jesus Christ to be conformed into His image.
Over forty years ago, I pioneered a singles ministry bible study. Through the years, I have served in ministry teaching bible studies and discipleship programs for youth, young adults, adults, and singles. As a Sunday School Teacher for young adults, I was nominated for the Mears Sunday School Teacher of the Year Award.
God has blessed me with many amazing opportunities to not only serve the church but organizations conducting weekly bible studies for a Fortune 500 company and serving as Chaplain for the Women’s National Basketball Association‘s Washington Mystics.
One of the most beautiful highlights of my life was writing and producing a play—Bride Ready—an unforgettable worship experience to renew the passion for the Bride, the Church, to be ready for the return of Jesus, the Bridegroom which had men, boys, women, and girls crowding the altar to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness like never before.
I am a widow with a wonderful family and enjoy immensely being a grandmother to my precious granddaughter. I love solitude, simplicity, pink peonies, rhinestone jewelry, HGTV and spending time with my circle of friends. I am a member of New Life, an amazing church in Maryland and currently reside in the sunny state of California.
