What if the beautiful you were created for requires spiritual growth?
Spiritual growth that you have been avoiding, misunderstood, not even sure what it looks like, or you want to be more intentional about.
Deep within the heart of every true Christian, there is a longing for beautiful for the will of God to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29).
You can try to distract it with busyness. Silence it with mere religious activity. Curate it with an aesthics faith. Hinder it with sin. Mistake it for a better version of yourself. Drown it in relationships. Mindless scroll or post it away. Occupy it with success and achievements.
But sooner or later, when you lean into the quiet and be still in his presence, you’ll hear Jesus inviting you to the beautiful he created you for.

Spiritual growth isn't measured by how much Scripture you know, how often or how long you’ve attended church, or how spiritual you appear or look on the outside. Spiritual growth is not always seen…often it is in the tearful “yes” of surrender to God’s will when it is just you and Jesus.
Spiritual growth is more love for God and quicker obedience to his commandments. It’s holiness and godliness over worldliness. It’s having a gentle and quiet spirit which is precious in the sight of God. It’s being transformed by the renewing of your mind. It’s abiding in Christ for fruitfulness. It’s guarding your heart as well as your tongue. It’s love for others.
Spiritual growth changes relationships, desires, attitudes, thoughts, decisions, actions—everything about who you are becoming. The enemy knows the implications of your spiritual growth; that is why he is after it. Spiritual growth is about God changing the person you're becoming. It's about becoming more like Jesus.
